Using Safety Studies to Obtain ODOT Funding for Safety Improvements

The Ohio Department of Transportation announced a $158 million safety budget following the recent gas tax increase. This funding is available to ODOT staff and local governments, and it can be used to make safety improvements on any public roadway.

Reneé is a Multi-Modal Engineer at Environmental Design Group. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Akron. Reneé has experience in transportation planning and design including trails, transportation corridors, culvert replacements, and major interstate projects.
