External CX Program
The External CX program focuses on exceeding expectations throughout the project lifecycle to earn trusted friendships through enhanced communications and creative solutions.
Our CX program was created by incorporating feedback gathered through collaboration with our internal and external clients. We provide clients with a thoughtful communication and feedback process to support the success of projects impacting our communities.

Lakewood Solstice Steps
While the Solstice Steps are a beautiful place, what many people don’t know is that the steps are not only built on a slope along the lake, but on a landfill! The process involved getting appropriate RULE 13 approvals through OEPA as well as specialized construction including lime stabilization with bench grading.
Lake Medina Trail
Instead of installing a 180’ long bridge structure, we utilized a lesser cost boardwalk system that connects to a 70’ bridge structure. The trail passes over the main channel, but also allows the boardwalk system to provide passage of flood flows. This saved Medina Parks 65% of the cost of a bridge-only structure system.
Towpath Mounds
As the Towpath trail climbs 60’, it needed to crest at an isolated area before descending under I-490. With 44,000 cubic yards of earthwork, the designers seized the opportunity to create sculptural mounds rising 40’. The benefit was the creation of a cultural asset and destination experience while not having to pay a lot in extra costs to truck tons of soil offsite.
