Painesville Township Bowhall Park- Plan4Health

Environmental Design Group, hired by Painesville Township, provided a conceptual design for both Bowhall Road Park and the Painesville Township-to-Lake Erie natural surface and boardwalk trail alignment. We provided site inventory analyses, GIS basemapping, schematic design and cost opinions of both the park and natural surface and boardwalk trail.

The Painesville Township Plan4Health Project was a $12,000 grant-funded study focused on improving public health outcomes through the conceptual design of Bowhall Road Park and conceptual alignment of the Painesville Township Park to Lake Erie natural surface and boardwalk trail. Active stakeholders throughout the project included Lake County Planning and Community Development and Painesville Township staff and trustees. The project was funded by the American Planning Association Plan4Health Grant, made possible by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
