Nash Heights Area Sanitary Sewer Improvements

Project Highlights

Environmental Design Group provided detailed design, construction administration, and surveying services for the project, resulting in 27,000 feet of 8” sanitary sewer, a 250-gpm sanitary pump station, and 3,000 feet of 6” force main that was connected to the Barberton wastewater treatment plant.

EDG’s preliminary design included estimating flows from the service area, selecting the optimal type of pump station, and obtaining soil borings. In addition to the listed services, EDG assisted the city in determining the best source of funding, preparing tentative assessments, procuring easements, and updating technical specifications, along with bidding assistance and construction administration services.
