IMPACT

This new state-of-the-art athletic facility will impact tens of thousands of people in the community. Student athletes, band members, youth athletic programs, and spectators now have a much overdue facility that elevates community pride and spirit while becoming one of the anchors of community activity.

Tallmadge High School Athletic Complex

Master planning, surveying, environmental wetland assessments, detailed civil engineering, and landscape architectural design, along with bidding and construction phase services were provided.

The athletic facilities on the Tallmadge High School campus include a 3,500-seat capacity stadium; an eight-lane all-weather track; long jump; pole vault; high jump and a 7,500-square-foot field house with locker rooms, public restrooms, and concessions facilities. The field has an Astroturf 3D3 field. The athletic complex was designed to nestle into the topography allowing the home side grandstands to be accessed from both the lower, field elevation as well as the upper level, press box elevation. This makes for a dramatic reveal of the stadium as visitors enter the stadium from above and provides commanding views for people with disabilities. A ticket booth, masonry columns, ornamental fencing, and monument signage welcome spectators at the main entry gate.
