Environmental Design Group provided multi-modal corridor, trail and park planning, environmental analysis and conceptual design for the area along and north of SR 6 between Castaway Bay and Putnam Marsh, with a focus on the old Griffing Airport property.
Active stakeholders throughout the planning and conceptual design process included the City of Sandusky staff and commission members, Cedar Fair, Erie Metroparks, Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Sports Force, Adaptive Adventures and the Sandusky Bay Rowing Association. This project was locally funded.
