IMPACT

The master plan is aspirational, but also actionable with a detailed phasing and implementation plan that focuses on elevating the Scouting experience with improved accommodations and amenities, expanded program areas for Scouts of all ages and abilities to progressively develop skills, and opportunities for the Council to generate revenue for many years to come.

Boy Scouts of America: Camp Falling Rock

Environmental Design Group provided master planning, architectural design services, site utility planning, and detailed cost and implementation plans. Illustrative renderings were also developed in collaboration with WSA Studios to further communicate the project vision.

Camp Falling Rock sits on more than 600 acres of land with rolling hardwood forests, streams and waterfalls, and scenic meadows. Defined by imposing rock formations that provide a dramatic backdrop for the Upper Amphitheater, the camp’s nickname is, “The Rock”. The camp facilities include a large dining hall, lodges and tent camping sites, pool, rifle range, climbing tower, and an activity field. Having made the difficult decision to consolidate camp properties, the investment at Camp Falling Rock is critical to maintain the council’s history and culture, legend and lore.
